Lady of April
The Lady of April bears Daisy and dons the stone of Diamond. The Daisy represents a new beginning, while the Diamond will bring her eternal love.
She ushers in a time of light and verdant arbors.
10×20 inches, watercolors and ink with genuine 22k gold leaf accents.
Artist’s Comments: I drew inspiration for Lady of April from the Greek goddess, Demeter, whose festival of light and growth took place in April in ancient times. Many cultures in the northern hemisphere also celebrate arbor festivals during this month as well.
Lady of April offers a tree of light symbolizing her connection with the arbors and the abundance of life.
