Lady of November
The Lady of November bears the Chrysanthemum and dons the stone of Topaz. The Chrysanthemum represents cheerfulness and the Topaz will bring her strength and wisdom.
She ushers in a time of fading light and remembrance.
10×20 inches, watercolors and ink with genuine 22k gold leaf accents.
Artist’s Comments: Lady of November draws inspiration from the monarch butterflies who return to Mexico every year during the Day of the Dead. She guides these souls with her lantern beacon and watchful presence.
This Lady also draws inspiration from Mictecacihuatl, the Aztec Lady of the Dead who presides over the festivities of the dead and the underworld.
